Why I Have A Bird On My Head
I'm so very thrilled that you asked that question. Obviously, you are a person of great curiosity. Things like funny headlines and unusual images tend to make you investigate further. That's a good thing because without this inquisitiveness, your life might be a slow-moving grey cloud dissipating over the horizon, never to achieve any real joy or happiness, or success. Life should require that you investigate things that are new and different. You absolutely need to turn over that stone to see what lurks beneath it. You won't know otherwise, and you won't be enlightened. An enlightened life is a joyous, happy, and successful life. Imagine if you just observed; if you just sat back and allowed things to float past you and through you without having any real effect on your emotional state. You would be that grey cloud, slowly dissipating and never amounting to anything. Life would just pass you by and you'd never have made any kind of impact on others around you. Without making any kind of impact, you'd have gone through a very dismal life and nobody would ever have mentioned you anywhere. No one would come to your funeral. No one would have even known you ever existed. A non-person in a non-life, now resting in a non-grave in a non-cemetery. How pitiful. Keep investigating things new and different. Do something about them. Hypothesize about them. Share them with as many people as may also find them interesting. Discuss them and create new things from them. Make a life full of curiosity and exploration, and you will be sure to have joy and success follow you everywhere you go, and bands will play at your funeral parade. I have a bird on my head because I want you to ask why.
